Set up a tripod in the garden. Mark the exact spot where the tripod legs sit.. Point the camera at an open space where the sun is visible in the blue dome of sky. Point the camera at the sun noting the angle and exposure. Every two weeks snap a shot at the same time of day. If all goes well, in one year you will end up with a figure eight of suns.
